Just back from the USA7s meet at Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee/North Carolina. About 55 different 7 variations, Caterhams, Lowcosts, Rotuses, Stalkers, etc, etc.

I saw a lovely orange Miata-based Westfield there that was being sold by Autopro Motorsports, a Westfield dealer out of Raleigh NC. Do they sell the same car as FM? Are they competitors, the East Coast dealer, or what? It was advertised for sale for $28K w/ the 1.6 engine which seemed like a deal. Very pretty car, well constructed, etc.

Autopro Motorsports is on this forum as DB's Seven. Doug (the owner) sells the full line of Westfield products and also builds turn-keys. Miata based kit sales do all go through FM, whether Doug sells the car or we do. Doug's car was just at the Se7ens at the Gap event and got a great review from Jalopnik:

Yes, Jalopnik does a very flattering review of the Westie. I purchased a used '97 Caterham 1 month before the event which I drove there for 50th anniversary of the Seven (25th of the Westfield!). I really expected it would outshine the other marques, like the Westfield. It did not, tho it's a wonderful car.

There were some very impressive vehicles there and for Jalopalink to single out the 1.6 Miata-based Westfield as the one they wanted to take home was highly complimentary. Wait til it gets some power!
